Do you want to make profit on the horses? Then you've landed in the right place. I'm Darren Fairbanks and I've been betting for as long as I can remember , from walking into betting betting shops at the tender age of 17 with my Grandad I picked up the bug. Now I don't have a story to tell, my Grandad didn't leave me "the secret", he was as bad as they come at picking horses and if laying was a thing back then he'd have made a killing but we're talking the days before online bookies were popular. I didn't have a chance encounter with a mysterious guy who couldn't stop winning and eventually shared his master plan with me. I'm sure you've seen those stories before, they're common in this game and have been around for as long as I can remember. All my Grandad did was got me interested in the horses, tought me the basics about horses, courses, the jockeys and the trainers and how to place a bet. The rest has all been hard work, time, analysis, trail and error and did I mention hard work? With no big secret to share, how about I just show you want I've acheved through 2024 instead? 2024 Profit/Loss Figures January +102.4pts 565.8pts total profit, 9 winning months out of 10 so far . All these figures are using a 150pt starting bank. I think its better to use these figures rather than actual £ amounts as its ok me saying I've made £56,000 and you thinking you can do the same but then you realise to make that amount every 1pt bet would have to be £100 and that means a starting bank of £15,000. So the best way to work out how much my tips would have made you this year would be to work out how much you have to bet, say for example, £1,000, divide that by 150. Thats £6.66 per 1pt bet, so say £6.50 then multiple that by the total profit of this year (565.8pts) giving you £3,667.70 As you can see, thats a long way from £56,000, so it better that you know a £1,000 investment as your bank would have turned a profit of £3,667 in 10 months. Work out how much you'd have made, would you be happy with that return? If so keep reading... 565.8pts Profit in 10 Months - How did I do it? To maximise profits we need to look at everything, so I place a mix of win bets, each way bets, doubles and the occasional more exotic multiple. Making the picks at the same time every day will mean that we either miss early value or don't have the full picutre of the race. This means that each evening I place bets on anything I can see value in, horses I think will win and drop in price or have been undervalued or missed by the bookies. Then in the morning I look over the cards again, check the forecast and the going and place any other bets I see fit. I start looking at the next days race cards as soon as I've placed all my tips for the current day, so its a long process, I generate shortlists to go back to and look at more details the following morning and make notes inbetween watching the racing. Its a long process, so I sometimes like to focus on a particular meeting. Let me show you how I've bet through November so you can see the sorts of bets I'll be sending out... November Winners - Its looking like another great month! 2 each way bets and 1 win bet advised the night before the racing, but only a returned a profit.
0.7pt profit on the bet but an overall loss on the 3 picks of -3.3pts In the morning I took on the Uttoxeter card as well as having 2 more win bets:
At Uttoxeter we hit 4/7 races . I always back these 1pt on each to win and I place a cheeky 0.1pt on the multiple, for example if you were placing £10 win bets, the multiple would just be £1, its more to add to the fun when we start the card with a few wins but they don't come in often but I do like to get paid extra whenever I go perfect. The card provided a profit of 4.95pts. We hit 1/2 of the other win bets:
Loss of 0.25pts over the 2 bets. Daily Profit/Loss: +1.4pts 2nd November 3 bets advised again the night before the racing with all 3 returning profits, 2 each way, 1 win.
10.85pt profit from the 3 evening bets. I selected the Wetherby card for the following day, no addional bets:
5/7 winners and a profit of 11.25pts profit. Daily Profit/Loss: +22.1pts 3rd November I don't bet on Sunday's usually as I do like to have a day off once per week. There will be occasions where I do bet but you should expect no bets and I'll let you know in advance if I'm planning to place bets. 4th November 2 each way bets advised the night before, one providing a place return:
-1.3pt loss on the 2 bets. No card today but 3 more each way bets and 2 win bets:
We picked up a win and place from 2 of the each way bets but nothing on the wins. 5.8pts profit from the bets thanks to The Resdev Way Daily Profit/Loss: +4.5pts November 5th 4 bets advised the night before, 2 win and 2 each way. Just one winner but at nice 17/2 odds:
3.5pt profit on the evening selections. Next up came the Redcar card, 2 more each way bets and 2 more win bets.
Only 2 winners but a small 1.4pt profit on the card.
Both win bets came in but no luck with the 2 each way selections. Daily Profit/Loss: +6.48pts November 6th 2 win bets and 2 each way bets advised the evening before the racing but only place returns for the 2 each way bets:

5/8 at Chepstow and a profit of 9.02pts
4/7 at Musselburgh and a profit of 4.15pts Daily Profit/Loss: +12.08pts November 7th 2 each way bets and 2 win bets advised. No returns at all so a 6pt loss Newcastle card selected and no additional bets today:
5/9 on the card and a profit of 13.07pts Daily Profit/Loss: +7.07pts November 8th 2 each way bets and 1 win bet advised first off.
-2.1 loss on th 3 bets, just the Fontwell card added to the mix today:
3/6 today but a small profit of 1.95pts Daily Profit/Loss: -0.15ptspts November 9th Big day lined up, 6 each way bets advised the night before:
4 producing profit, overall a small 1.9pt profit. DOULBE CARD DAY at Kelso and Doncaster
3/6 at Kelso, 7.38pts profit
4/8 at Doncaster, 11.4pts profit. Daily Profit/Loss: +20.68pts November 10th Rest day today, back in action tomorrow. November 11th Just a win double for Kempton the night before but no luck hitting 1/2 -1pt Carlise card didn't pan out but we picked up a 10/1 EW winner from 3 EW bets.
1/8 at Carlisle -5.85pts
1/3 on the each way bets for +6pts profit Daily Profit/Loss: +1.15pts November 12th 3 win bets and 1 each way bet today. Non-runner for Karakoram each way and no luck on the 3 each way bets. No card today. Daily Profit/Loss:-3pts November 13th Evening picks, 3 each way and 2 wins. 2 returns...
6.15pts profit Lingfield card and a Bangor double lined up next.
5/9 at Lingfield for 7.17pts No luck on the Bangor Double Daily Profit/Loss: +12.32pts November 14th Sedgefield and Market Rasen doubles lined up from the evening. No returns, -2pts. 4 each way bets lined up for the day with no returns. Chelmsford card saw the only winners on the day:
1.75pt profit on the card but a loss overall on the day. Daily Profit/Loss: -8.25pts November 15th No bets today back in action tomorrow. November 16th No evening bets today, looking at Cheltenham in the morning along with other bets. Cheltenham win card and Cheltenham EW picks...
2/7 on the wins and a loss of -1.02pts
No wins but 3/5 places on the each way picks, 3.4pts profit. 3 more each way picks, 2 win bets and a Wetherby win double also on the cards today, the double landing but none of the others
0.34pts profit from the selections but not a lot to show overall from a busy day. Daily Profit/Loss: +2.71pts November 17th Sunday again so no bets today. November 18th Extended break so no bets again today. November 19th Just 3 picks today all win bets but no returns. Daily Profit/Loss: -3.00pts November 20th Limited selections again today due to the snow and unknown conditions. 2 each way bets, 2 win bets, just 1 return.
Daily Profit/Loss: -3.20pts November 21st Similar story todday, 1 each way bet, 2 win bets. No card.
One win returned but only a very small profit on the day. Daily Profit/Loss: +0.33pts November 22nd 2 each way bets advised this evening. No returns, -4pts 3 win bets added today, we'll pick up the cards again next week as it looks like the weather and ground conditions will improve over the weekend.
Just one win return today. Daily Profit/Loss: -4.2pts November 23rd 1 each way and 1 win bet advised, just the win bet coming in.
+0.5pt over the 2 picks. 2 each way bets and a win double added. No luck on the each way bets but we landed the double at Huntingdon
Daily Profit/Loss: +2.1pts November 24th No bets today, looking to pick up the cards again tomorrow. November 25th 3 each way bets and 1 win bet advised in the evening. Non-runner on the win bet and no look on the 3 each way bets, -6pts. Only 2 meetings today so no full card but we added a win single and win double to the mix and landed both:

In the morning I added 1 more win bet and made my picks for the Market Rasen card, didn't back the first race as the favourite was the clear pick but at 1/9 when I was looking it wasn't worth betting.
Everything but a winner today, out of 6 selections I picked 4x 2nds, 1x 3rd and 1x 4th. No return for the card and no return for the additional win bet today. Daily Profit/Loss:-6.38pts November 28th 3 win bets and 2 each way advised in the evening, 1 non-runner on the each way bets with the other placing and 1/3 on the win bets...
2.76pts profit from the evening selections. In the morning I added a win bet and looked to Lingfield for the card. Win bet landed, but only 1/6 on the card...
Again out of the 7 losing win bets I managed to pick 3 more 2nd places. The morning selections ended down -1.375pts but overall on the day a small profit. Daily Profit/Loss: +1.385pts November 29th A big set of evening selections, 4 wins and 2 each way bets. No returns so a -8pt loss on the selections. In the morning I added 3 win bets, a win double and a big each way bet. Only the each way bet returned but a big return even for a place:
5.6pts profit on the place return, -4pt from the other morning picks, so a 1.6pt profit from the morning picks overall but a loss on the day. Daily Profit/Loss: -6.4pts November 30th 1 win bet and 2 each way bets selection in the evening. No return on the win bet which finished 3rd, both each way bets returning, one win and one place:
In the morning I added the Doncaster card but only saw 2 winners:
-2.26pt loss on the Doncaster card bets but overall a nice profit on the day. Daily Profit/Loss: +14.74pts
November ends with +86.86pts profit
Additional Information Tips are sent via email. Evening emails are sent between 10pm-11pm I advise a 150pt betting bank. Bets do vary as shown above on a daily basis. All each way bets are 1pt each way = 2pt total stake Any bets that vary from this will be advised along with their staking in the email. I bet with Betfair Sportsbook, but you can use any bookie. The odds advised are at the time of sending out the bets.
